30 Days of Truth - Day Nineteen

Day Nineteen - What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?...

I'll answer this in two parts:

Religion - I'm not a big believer in religion but I respect anyone that does. I wasn't brought up in a family that was religious and although my parents were Christened - I wasn't. Partly to do with money when I was first born. However I do not regret that I wasn't because I have never really thought about myself being in anyway religious. When I was in Durham Cathedral last Thursday for the Holocaust Memorial Day, (which I never mentioned on here but it was a great but freezing day where a Holocaust survivor spoke - it was very interesting and made you realise how important life is and how much you should live it!) I actually thought how amazing it would be to actually have beliefs and be able to turn to religion in moments of doubt or in tough days. Anyway, I would sum this up by saying I am probably an Atheist.

Politics - I'm not to bothered about this either as I'm not a very political person. In my opinion most politicians are liars and cheat to get what they want - take our Government in the UK for example. They say they are going to do one thing to get people's votes and then when they're in a coalition, they do that one thing they say they weren't going to. Then who suffers for the economy being so messed up - us! When it was the MP's buying four different houses, swimming pools and duck houses when they shouldn't have been. Enough said!
