When Technology Stabs You In The Back!

For my birthday in December, I got the new iPod nano and all was great until this morning. I have over 700 songs on my iPod. Not really sure why because I never listen to all of them but it's great putting it on shuffle and old songs popping on. I love listening to old songs! Last night I was listening to my iPod through my docking station and then I turned it off, watched television, watched a film and went to bed. When I pressed the 'wake' button on the top this morning my iPod would not turn on. Great! So, I tried to charge it up using my docking station and with the USB in the laptop but guess what? It still wouldn't work and started to go really hot - and I mean really HOT!

When me and my mam went shopping today, we popped along to the Apple store and got an appointment. As my mam was waiting in a queue to pay for some clothes, I went to my little appointment by myself and explained to the man what the problem was. Little clever clog that he was after looking at it with his little light thing, he said it had got water in the iPod but as it was still under guarantee so I could get another one the same. I suppose it having had water damage (I have no idea how!) kinda makes sense why the iPod was heating up when I plugged it in!

As much as this is great as my other one was quite scratched, I now have to spend the night putting all my songs and playlists back onto my new iPod on my incredibly slow laptop, which totally stresses me out because it's so slow! When technology fails you, eh?!

I've Realised....

... That I am a bit of a Blogger Binger. Confused? I'll explain.

I've noticed that I go through phases of blogging all the time and then not blogging for days. For example, this week I posted on Monday and now this post is on Friday. I like to blog more! But I just don't have any ideas/ inspiration at the moment - as it's all exams, revision, exams, revision. Aghh! Then, when I did my recent 15 day challenge, I blogged every day and then had loads of posts after, which I had decided to do whilst completing the challenge. Therefore, in my eyes I am a blogger binger. (pronounced binge but with an r)

I would post about my daily musings, but to be quite honest, they're not that interesting - it's all school, exams, revision, school, exams - get where I'm coming from yet? I'm sitting my final GCSE's in May and June and the stressful thing is - I'm stressed about NOT being stressed.

Anyway, this is my little rant for today. I've noticed I don't talk that negatively on my blog that much as it's all about being positive and not letting things get to you, right? Or else I would be posting some pretty boring stuff and you would be sick and tired of the rants and things that annoy me, haha. I am off to see Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow - so a post idea here? I think so. Even though this is off topic - in regards to the book I'm reading in the sidebar, things have been haltered from getting into the book due to revision. I hope to be able to finish it soon but I'm finding it quite hard to get stuck into it but I'll give it al little more time :)

Hopefully, I'll be posting normally again next week (I like to post at least four times a week) and I hope you all have a great weekend. What are you all up to?

Wohhh! Hold On A Sec!

Where has the time gone? On Thursday I break up for my Easter Holidays for 2 weeks & 2 Days! and I can't believe that when I get back to school it will be May. I just can't believe that these final exams have came around so fast. My first exams begin in the second or third week of May and last up until the end of June. It doesn't really help that I'm being put in for loads of resits in some module exams as I got an A but I am targetted an A*. (Science teachers, I'm talking to you!!)

Aghh, everything is coming around so quickly. So many new exams, so many resits and so many revision sessions after school to attend. Never mind all the revision I need to do at home because to be quite honest I don't know half of the stuff I need to know off by heart for my upcoming exams.

I'm writing this post now from a break on improving my Science Data Analysis coursework that I did last year in year 10 to get one more mark. I am so close to an A* overall for my Core Science GCSE so I'm trying to push myself for it. But I get the feeling that if I don't start revising now, everything will get on top of me - hence my goals for April - REVISE!
