Another Month Has Been And Gone

It's August! Er what? I can't believe there's probably only one more month of warm weather with the sun shining high as it'll most likely start to get cold again in September. I haven't been posting these last few days because frankly I've been doing nothing! I've just been looking after my twin brothers as they broke up from school a couple of weeks ago and obviously my parents are working. Today I got up much earlier than usual at 8.30am and got the jobs done for my mam, walked the dog and caught up on some T.V. programmes and then went to my friend's house for 11.30am. I then went on another walk with her dog and we were out for ages, got stuck in different fields as my short legs couldn't climb over the barb wire without getting myself hurt, climbed a lot of gates and saw a baby bunny! This showed that where we live is actually more rural than we think! I then went around and picked my brothers up from the childminders (they go one day a week) and looked after them until my parents came home from work. It's been quite a pretty busy day and it's been really humid (ugh!) but I've had a lovely day as I finally could get out the house more apart from walking my dog :)

  1. sighs.. summer is almost over :(

  2. I know, I can't believe it's August either! I'm glad you had a lovely day :)

  3. I love that song by Coldplay! I can't believe it's already August. July flew by too fast. Sounds like a nice relaxing day though :)

  4. I'm sad summer is almost over too! It's my favorite season, and it always goes by too fast. :) Your days sounds pretty wonderful though!

P.S. I didn't know they used the word childminders in the UK. I know I comment sometimes about different words that you write and I have never heard because I'm not from England. I hope you don't mind, but I totally love that I learn new stuff from you. :)

  5. It's good to see you had fun!
Though I can't really relate to the whole "summer is almost over" stuff because where I come from, there are no seasons. :)

  6. Erika, I know :(

Hazel, thank you I did :)

Anna, I know what a great song! I can't believe how quick July flew over and I didn't even do much!

Natalie, I love summer too and it's always so short, especially in the UK! I love hearing about what different words you use in America so I don't mind :) And, really what word do you use?

Cricketfreak, really? That must be really strange. Well strange for me because it would be totally different for me. So is it always warm where you live?

  7. July went by so darn quickly! Sounds lovely where you are with all the fields and things (eee baby bunny!) xx

  8. Rachel, it did! The baby bunny was such a cutie :)

thank you! your lovely comments always put a smile on my face :)
