30 Days of Truth - Day Twenty Six

Day Twenty Six - Have you ever thought about giving up on life? If so, when and why?

I wouldn't say I've ever wanted to give up on life but I have certainly felt really down and wondered 'what am I doing here?' If you know what I mean. This was about four or five years ago, so to me I wasn't even old enough to actually make a proper decision. Even if I had felt so bad that I wanted to end my life, I would never have gone through with it anyway.

I don't really remember much about it but it was just times when I would cry in bed and whatnot. But I don't know why. Hormones? Probably. It was just the simple things that were really getting to me and upsetting me. I hope that I never feel like I want to give up on life because too me: life is too short to begin with and I want to do so much.

30 Days of Truth - Day Twenty Five

Day Twenty Five - The reason you're still alive today...

To be quite honest, I have never really thought about it and it has took me a while to think and actually begin to write this post. It could be anything and I could throw around ideas but the fact is I'll never really know and probably won't find out. Here are a few reasons it could be, which one is correct is anybody's guess!

- Religious reasons i.e. God

- I don't do drugs or anything illegal

- I don't get into fights and don't look for a reason to be injured etc.

- I'm cautious when crossing the road

- I get out of the way of reversing cars, like today when an old man nearly reversed into me!

- I haven't had any threatening illnesses

- I'm extremely lucky!

30 Days of Truth - Day Nineteen

Day Nineteen - What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?...

I'll answer this in two parts:

Religion - I'm not a big believer in religion but I respect anyone that does. I wasn't brought up in a family that was religious and although my parents were Christened - I wasn't. Partly to do with money when I was first born. However I do not regret that I wasn't because I have never really thought about myself being in anyway religious. When I was in Durham Cathedral last Thursday for the Holocaust Memorial Day, (which I never mentioned on here but it was a great but freezing day where a Holocaust survivor spoke - it was very interesting and made you realise how important life is and how much you should live it!) I actually thought how amazing it would be to actually have beliefs and be able to turn to religion in moments of doubt or in tough days. Anyway, I would sum this up by saying I am probably an Atheist.

Politics - I'm not to bothered about this either as I'm not a very political person. In my opinion most politicians are liars and cheat to get what they want - take our Government in the UK for example. They say they are going to do one thing to get people's votes and then when they're in a coalition, they do that one thing they say they weren't going to. Then who suffers for the economy being so messed up - us! When it was the MP's buying four different houses, swimming pools and duck houses when they shouldn't have been. Enough said!

30 Days of Truth - Day Eighteen

Day Eighteen - Your views on gay marriage...

In my eyes there is nothing wrong with a gay marriage. I'm not a big believer in religion so I can see why some people can disagree with gay marriage but as far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter about the gender, if a couple loves each other and they want to confirm their love for one another by getting married then they should.

I don't actually know anybody personally that is gay but everyone should be respected about who they are, who they want to be and what they want to do. So, gay marriage should not be a problem, if there is a problem maybe they should look away. I'm not here to judge and I'm certainly not going to, in any situation. I suppose it is everyone's own personal opinion depending on beliefs and so on.

Why should they not be allowed to love eachother and get married like everybody else?
I think they should be.
