I Haven't Disappeared... I Promise

I have no idea what to post about these days! Not a lot has been going lately, just been to the pictures, got a new bag and things for sixth form. My enrollment day is next week and then we begin the following week. Looking forward to it but I'll be bricking it the day before! - Everything is going to be brand new but they say change is good, right? I'm glad I'm not going back to secondary school anyway. I still must go shopping for some new clothes for sixth form as I'll run out things to wear after a few days. Aghh :/ September tomorrow too - wtf!?! We haven't had much of a summer and now it's literally over but I suppose I couldn't expect anything more from the Great British Weather, especially up north! But Gossip Girl is back later in the month and a new Cosmo needs to be bought so all is good still :)

P.S. Sorry my posts have been all over the place recently :/

P.P.S. I'm really pleased Beyonce is pregnant and she did in a great way. I'm sure she'll make a lovely mother and I think it was perfect timing :)

Destination Love: Australasia

Australia and New Zealand are probably one of the most popular places to visit. Taking a trip down under means spending a day on an aeroplane just to get there. The weather seems gorgeous and I love the accent! And, you're more likely to see boys with hardly no clothes on haha :)  My parents would love to visit Australia and so would I but if I was travelling this far, I would definitely travel to New Zealand too. It seems that visiting this continent is a must-see to do! Not forgetting koala bears and kangaroos! The views are simply incredible!

 In Australia:

Sydney Harbour

The Red Centre - Ayers Rock, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon

Great Barrier Reef

Melbourne

Kangaroo Island

Broome

Tasmania

Great Ocean Road

In New Zealand:

Auckland

Christchurch

The Results Are In!

It was really surreal going up to the school at 10am and meeting with friends to collect our GCSE results. After two years of exams, coursework, resits, homework and more bloody exams, it's finally, finally over! I'd like to share with you all my results - haha aghhh I can't believe I finally have GCSE exam results. So, my CV is updated and I must must find a job! Anyway, all I have to do now is wait for sixth form to start!

Dun dun dunnnn.....

1 A*
7 A's
2 B's
2 C's

However my C's were probably in the least important subjects for what I want to do which are BTEC Textiles (so technically a Pass) and Citizenship. I'm proper chuffed! I'm off to watch a DVD in bed because getting up early has tired me out and I've just got back from Frankie & Benny's with my friends so I'm pretty much knackered!

Tan!

I've had a great holiday away. During the time I've been away, I've been staying at my mam's friends house in Devon and been camping in Cornwall. The weather down south was lush! It was sooo hot and I've got myself a nice little tan - especially on my lower arm = result :) Devon and Cornwall are beautiful places and here are some lovely photos to share with you all. We stayed in St. Ives in Cornwall while camping but also visited the surrounding areas - Hayle, Lands End and when in Devon we stayed in Sidmouth but went to Tipton and Perranporth along other little stops. We also walked along the Pebblebed Heaths in Devon - seriously such a lovely place!

I'm Off...

... well not unitl Monday morning but I thought I'd do a quick post to say cheerio! I'm off to Devon then Cornwall then Devon again for ten days (I think!) I'm coming back just before results day - aghhh so nervous! Anyway, recently I've been reading the Harry Potter books - yes I know, finally! - because I'm such a fan of the films. I read the first three books online, which actually wasn't as bad as I thought but I've decided that I'm going to read the rest in the form of an actual book as they're obviously getting longer. So, today I popped up to my local library to see if I could get the fourth and fifth books (my neighbour has lent me the sixth and seventh) but they were out of stock. Damn!

As I'm such a bookworm, I decided to get some more book to read and take a few away with me. I kinda got six, which I'm hoping I'll be able to read before the time limit's up or I'll have to get an extended date. But no fear, I'm going to see if my neighbour can ask her daughter for the fourth and fifth Harry Potter books. Fingers crosses because they're so addictive and I love learning more than the films tell you! The following books that I got from the library today:

Whispers of Love - Rosie Harris
The Bourne Identity - Robert Ludlum
The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown
The Help - Kathryn Stockett
The Summer of the Bear - Bella Pollen
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte

I've wanted to read a couple of these for a while so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into one tonight. I'll let you know how each of the books have turned out when I've finished reading them. There's loads of different genres in this little selection. Anyway, I'm going to leave you as I'll be packing tomorrow and setting off first thing on Monday and I'll see you I get back - hopefully with good GCSE results!!

Gossip Guys

See what I did there? ;) I'm a pretty big fan of the show Gossip Girl and I can't wait for season five to be aired in September. The girls: Blake, Leighton and Jessica (Serena, Blair and Vanessa) are so beautiful but my attention totally turns to the boys: Ed, Chace and Penn (Chuck, Nate and Dan) Seriously how fit are these guys! At the moment, I'm a pretty big fan of Ed Westwick - have you seen the film Chalet Girl! - he is like sex on legs!! So, here's some pictures for you all to drool over ;)

Summer Loving

I love the opportunities and experiences summer can give you. It's a shame this is probably the last month of it :( This is my summer list of things that make my summer PERFECT! I've done most of them so far :) Even if we haven't had the best summer where I live due to the rain. It's August and was pouring today!

country walks with the dog, blasting out the radio while in the car with the windows down, blue skies, family barbeques, laughs, cool breezes, trips to the cinema, big sunglasses, shopping in town, fruit smoothies, it being light in the morning,  ice lollies, strawberry picking, hanging out with friends, the beach, reading new books, warm weather, ice cold lemonade with ice cubes, holidays abroad or down south, not wearing thick layers, my hair going lighter, late nights, water fights, spending time with loved ones, the sun shining brightly, fresh air, getting a little tan, sandals, when the rain decided to go away for a while, blogging, having the windows open, blooming flowers, summer tunes

5 SUMMER TUNES:
FRAGMA - TOCA'S MIRACLE,
LMFAO - PARTY ROCK ANTHEM,
CALVIN HARRIS FT KELIS - BOUNCE,
 MARTIN SOLVEIG - HELLO
DJ FRESH - LOUDER

'When You're In Unfamiliar Places, Count On Me Through Life's Changes'

The last couple of weeks have been a little over the place as I've been doing nothing for most days and then not knowing if I'm doing anything the next day or not. I've had so much free time, I just want to be doing something! Here's a few pics from the last week or so. Hope you're all having a great week. Friday tomorrow! And, I'm off to see Horrible Bosses with Amie and Sarah tomorrow, which should be fun!

In my mam and dad's bedroom :)

Okay so my head looks pretty big here and Jess obviously does not want a photo taken but I love her <3

My seven year old brother. Ben did this today! How good is this?! It's me, Daniel his twin brother and little Jess.

A little close up of the three siblings (minus our older brother)

Jess who looks very sorry for herself!

Another Month Has Been And Gone

It's August! Er what? I can't believe there's probably only one more month of warm weather with the sun shining high as it'll most likely start to get cold again in September. I haven't been posting these last few days because frankly I've been doing nothing! I've just been looking after my twin brothers as they broke up from school a couple of weeks ago and obviously my parents are working. Today I got up much earlier than usual at 8.30am and got the jobs done for my mam, walked the dog and caught up on some T.V. programmes and then went to my friend's house for 11.30am. I then went on another walk with her dog and we were out for ages, got stuck in different fields as my short legs couldn't climb over the barb wire without getting myself hurt, climbed a lot of gates and saw a baby bunny! This showed that where we live is actually more rural than we think! I then went around and picked my brothers up from the childminders (they go one day a week) and looked after them until my parents came home from work. It's been quite a pretty busy day and it's been really humid (ugh!) but I've had a lovely day as I finally could get out the house more apart from walking my dog :)
