Animal Kingdom

Firstly, I would like to say how much I'm over the moon with the responses to my last post - I love you all!
Secondly, I told you all I would be back! and now I'm going to get on with my post :)

I love so many animals but one animal that I would love to see in real life is an elephant. I have so much respect for elephants, in my eyes they are amazing and very intelligent. I really want to visit South Africa one day (I have a post coming up soon about this), go on a safari and see the big five but most importantly see one of these magnificent creatures in action. Yes, I'm declaring my undying love for them right here, right now.

One of my favourite films I have seen this year is Water for Elephants. Seriously, it's such a great film: sad, romantic and has a gorgeous elephant in it. This film made me love elephants even more. I bought the book and another one recently but I have actually stopped myself from reading them - with great difficulty. I wanted to wait until after my exams because I knew for a a fact I would not be able to put the books down and I would get zilch revision done. I'll leave you with this little cutie: :)

  1. You're last post was great (like this one!) ♥ Ooh, South Africa is great! My family is from there, and on our most recent trip we went to Kruger! One of the most amazing parts was seeing the elephants (including one baby!) I hope you'll get to see some for yourself one day! :) WFE is SUCH a good movie! I got the book recently, I can't wait to start reading! Good luck with your upcoming exams! ♥

  2. I had to do the same thing when I had loads of coursework to do! Not being able to read what I wanted was depressing lol.

I like elephants too and I've always wanted to ride on the back of one! My aunt was lucky in that in Sri Lanka an elephant used its trunk to lift her onto its back - how awesome is that?!

  3. When I was about 8 or 9 we had a chance to ride an elephant. There was a local circus nearby and we went to see it and they were offering elephant rides. I'm afraid of heights so I refused to ride it but my little sister got a chance to! Elephants are absolutely huge. They're awesome though.

Hazel, that is so amazing! I would love for that to happen haha :)

Anna, I would probably be really scared to get a ride too at that age. Now, I would love too!

I was lucky enough to ride one when I went to Thailand last year (that was the ONE thing I really wanted to do there :), and it was seriously such a wonderful experience! I hope to go on safari in South Africa one day too, and see more animals!! :)
