Day 3 of 15 -

Day 3 -  Short term goals for this month and why...

As I'm posting this a day before the last day of March, I'm doing my short goals for April. I actually have been looking forward to posting this one as I haven't actually done goals for the month on here before.

1) Get in some revision
Why? - I have my final exams in May and June and I want to actually do some revision (even if it a month before) so I feel more prepared for when they come around.

2) Take lots of pictures in Paris
Why? - Does this one even need a reason? I went to Paris two years ago (It only feels at least six months/ 1 year ago at least) My camera isn't the greatest but I want to take more pictures than the first time round and then post them on here!

3) Lose weight
Why? - I always feel so much better after I've lost a few pounds and with prom around the corner in June, I want to find a dress and feel good, confortable and not self concious in it.

4) Try and save up some money
Why? - This is probably unlikely as I have already dipped into my pocket money for April and with out a doubt I'll probably be off to the cinema soon and I want to buy clothes but I always feel really good when I've saved up some money.

5) Blog regulary
Why? - I blog quite regulary anyway but sometimes I can waffle or not post for a few days after I have done a challenge. However good news for my followers who read my posts more or less daily - I actually have some posts planned for the rest of this month!

Note - Aplogies again but whilst I'm doing these posts, I will be delaying my next Time to Smile posts for another two weeks so that I concentrate on the challenge until I finish it. It will be back shortly with a one off theme to that week's Time to Smile :)

i would love...

...to swim in these three swimming pools!

San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrabo, Chile.
This is the world's biggest swimming pool on the southern coast of Chile. The pool covers 20 acres and holds around 66 gallons of water! It's deepest end is 115ft but it's crystal clear and you can see the bottom of the pool. If the pool is too deep (which it would be for me) to swim in there are small boats provided!!

Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina, Switzerland.
This pool is indoors and in the winter you can watch ice skaters in the private rink from the swimming pool. This pool looks a great one to swim in because a) it will be lovely warm and b) the view is amazing. You would be swimming in awe at the snowy peaks of the Upper Engadin!!

Sands SkyPark Pool at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
This pool is 200m in the air and gives an amazing view over Singapore's futuristic skyline. The  pool is on the 55th floor and three times the length of an Olympic swimming pool. Talk about breathtaking! Also, the watery treats continue below the hotel as you can ride on a Sampton boat on an canal through its shopping centre. Wow!!

Any of these take your fancy too?

30 Days of Truth - Day Twenty Nine

Day Twenty Nine - Something you hope to change about yourself and why?

I would like to change my appearance - I want to lose weight, grow my nails and to get on top of sorting out my dry skin. Hopefully with the summer my skin will be better, yey :) And, now I have had a treadmill in the house for a few months I've been going on three/four times a week. I want to keep that sustained and even try going on nearly every day even if it is only for half an hour because it makes such a difference. The only reason I want to change my weight is so I'm happier in myself and I think if you're happier on the outside as well as the inside, your confidence grows which I want to happen.

Well, it takes time but I'm on my way!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! :)

30 Days of Truth - Day Twenty Eight

Day Twenty Eight - What if you were pregnant, what would you do?...

Don't get me wrong I want children when I'm older, in ten years or so making me around 26/27 years old but not now. I'm 16 and I think I would just totally freak out and I don't think I would be the only one - I have a feeling my parents would just want to kill me!

I don't really believe in abortion so I don't think I could do that. I really hope that I wouldn't find out to late and I could take 'the morning after' pill. The only other option would be adoption but then I wouldn't want to give MY child up. Aghh. This is totally got me going so many ways but I don't want children too young, I want to live my life, have a career and go travelling before I settle down and because I have younger twin brothers, I know how stressful kids are!

I just hope I don't get myself into this situation and let's just say I'll be making sure there is contraception! I would love a baby, forget the screaming remember the cuteness, just give me time! Haha :) What would you do?

30 Days of Truth - Day Twenty Three

Day Twenty Three - Something you wish you had done in life...

I can't really answer this one yet because I'm quite young. But I hope that as I become older I don't regret that I never did something in my life or if I do it is really insignificant. I hope that in my life I am able to live my life to the full and enjoy nearly every minute of it. I hope that I am successful in what I want to do, am in a loving relationship, that I get to travel around the world - exploring not just the big, bustling cities but the little nooks and crannies of country villages and their little tea shops! I really hope that life is going to be good to me, full of the simple things making my life complete. Fun, laughter and love - that is all I really need to be happy.

How about you?

30 Days of Truth - Day Eleven

Day Eleven - Something people seem to compliment you the most on...

(the best advice for an exam)

Hmm, I would say I get complimented the most on my grades in my exams at school. How sad is that? hehe but I like it in a way. I'm not a swot, I just get on with my work and get the grades I want. Which is great when I see an A*! I love knowing that I've done well especially in subjects that I hope to study further for my A-Levels - if you haven't noticed aleady, I frequently talk about the future on my blogs. But hey, it's not all beauty and looks :)

30 Days of Truth - Day Five

Day Five - Something you hope to do in your life...

Wow, I really like this question and find it easy to answer because I want to do so many things in my life, I'm sure everybody does. I hope to get the job I have always wanted and have a family but one of the things that I wish to start as soon as possible is to travel. Since I was young I have always dreamed of travelling to different countries, seeing the sights and having many 'one in a experiences.' So far I've been to Spain, Greece and France more than once abroad.

The places I would love to visit:

America - not even a particular state, everyone if I could! California, Illinois, Florida, New York and even Alaska would be amazing to visit and I really hope that I will have the opportunity to do so.

South Africa - I love the African wildlife and would love to see the 'Big Five' and watch the sunset in Africa.

Australia - I would love to visit Sydney; the weather, excursions and... just everything.

Italy - Friends may say I'm obsessed with this place but I'm not, I would just love to visit here. I love Italian food and would love to see the history. Naples; Pompeii, Venice, Rome & Florence - yes please!

Athens, Greece - I've visited Greece plenty of times in the past but I would love to visit the capital. I love history and want to do a history degree when I'm older, I love Greek & Roman mythology too so visiting Athens would be perfect for me.

Poland - Maybe not a popular choice for everyone but there is something about this place that makes me want to visit here. Probably not for a holiday but a sight seeing break - seeing the different culture in my opinion would be really enlightening.

These places are also mentioned in my bucket list :)
